Remembering Angus Cloud’s humour, authenticity, loyalty and creative promise apart from any character
Angus Cloud was an American actor whose natural warmth and understated screen presence made him one of the most memorable performers of his generation.

Born Conor Angus Cloud Hickey in Oakland, California, he grew up in a creative community, attended Oakland School for the Arts, and later became widely known as Fezco on HBO's Euphoria.

His path into acting was unusually direct: he was noticed in New York and cast in Euphoria without the conventional machinery of a long audition career, bringing a grounded humanity to a role that could have been much narrower in another actor's hands.

Cloud's portrayal of Fezco resonated because it carried tenderness, loyalty, humor, and hurt at the same time.

Audiences responded to the softness he brought to difficult scenes and the way he made silence feel expressive.

Beyond Euphoria, he appeared in music videos and film projects, including work that showed his interest in growing beyond the role that introduced him to millions. He died in Oakland on 31 July 2023 at age 25.

Public reports and his family described a young man grieving the recent death of his father and navigating mental health struggles.

In the wake of his death, friends, colleagues, and fans remembered not only the actor on screen but the person whose gentle energy, originality, and affection for his family left a lasting impression.
